I don't know how much of Laurence Fox's constant, NSFW flirtation with male co-stars is just to whip up fandom frenzy, and I don't know how much seriousness and pro-queer political awareness there is underneath his planet-sized sense of mischief, nor do I know how much genuine attraction he feels toward men or what he thinks Hathaway's sexuality really is...
...but I do think there's some seriousness. I don't think it's only to be outrageous. I do think he has a coherent take on Hathaway. It includes Hathaway's attraction to women, too; I still pine for the romance that could have been with Liv Nash.
He's an original, Laurence Fox. It could be just that he's purely outrageous and has as little depth as he always claims, in his flippant way. But one thing's for sure: 20 years ago, I could not have imagined such an establishment hit as Lewis featuring a lead actor making such outspoken references to male-male sexuality. I love this actor's disruptiveness. I feel love and gratitude for the large-scale picture of bisexuality that Laurence Fox has created.

@lozzafox Just watched last week's Lewis. Now Robbie has a lady, do you think James will find a girl? :)

In short: ♥ to Laurence. :)
I'm just glad he isn't a wilting flower and I can't imagine there's any contortion we can put Hathaway through that will be too much for him to withstand. I mean, he's the one who mentioned kissing Kevin on his "balloon knot," which was almost too much for me to withstand. I almost never use the acronym "ROFL" because I think it's usually an exaggeration, but I very nearly did at that. <3 <3 <3 <3 <3
He makes me happy, yes.
Oh my god, I remember that day. SUCH HAPPY TIMES. \o/
That was the point in the interview just after Fox speculated that Hathaway could fall in love with Lewis. :)
Am staring at that bratty red Converse with the boyish skinny ankle and the possessive hand on Kevin's knee.
most of the lovely guys do these days and treat it humorously if they are smart. His public gratuitousness kidding around is (IMO) half Brit school boy joking and half savvy career builder. But most of all, he is willing to be "out there" on his terms.
